Oh, the flying fox is a baby one curled up in a ball…he’s gonna be soooooo cute! 😀
November 30, 2007 at 9:36 pm #610114You’re killing me…I want all of them…have to be good until next year. 😆
November 30, 2007 at 9:39 pm #610115Bah! January’s right around the corner! AND I still have to conquer this casting process! You’ve got time! 😆
November 30, 2007 at 10:49 pm #610116The baby fox sounds very cute!
December 1, 2007 at 1:04 am #610117BABY WINGED FOX!!!!! *happy dance* Put me down for one of those or maybe more… Ialso can’t wait to see the others the flying fish has me interested too
December 1, 2007 at 1:18 am #610118Here’s the rough blobby of the winged fox. Do you think the nose needs shortened? Are the eye sockets too big?
December 1, 2007 at 2:58 am #610119Babies always have big eyes!! But his head might be just a touch too big. *Ducks for cover*
December 1, 2007 at 5:31 am #610120Here’s a couple newer pics
Always feel free to give an opinion! No need to duck! 😆
However, I’m kinda upset that my first dragonsnail isn’t casting-friendly…Melody warned me to “design for casting” but at the time I’d never cast before so I really didn’t understand. Now I do. Bleh, learning sometimes comes the hard way. There are two major breakpoints on the first dragon, his ears and his neck at it’s thinnest point. The wingfolds also have “caverns” which the rubber becomes a problem with. sigh…he broke coming out of the rubber mold, badly enough he’ll need a total resculpt. Sniff. The chirpmunk has been a wonderful success though. I will be resculpting the snaildragon, so they will be up for sale someday but it will be a bit longer than planned….On the bright side, my sculpting has gotten alot better with each piece so he’ll be even better the next time around. I’m also a fairly fast sculptor, so it may not even take that long.
December 1, 2007 at 3:59 pm #610121Yay, chirpmunks! That fox is looking cute.
December 1, 2007 at 4:10 pm #610122It is looking like I do have castable pieces, but they will not be the ones I originally thought…chalk it up to trial and error method of education…This is probably the order of availability. Keep in mind that I’m still learning and fumbling through these processes so I can get a quality product. I wont settle for less than a good quality product.

Winged fox
Winged fish (koi?)I’ve been designing these specifically to be “casting friendly” and therefore less breakable. They are also more detailed as they are later pieces. I will be starting to resculpt the dragonsnails too, they’re a concept i love and want to see reach completion, I’m still bummed they broke though. The other one broke this morning. 😥
