I’m not giving up, just taking a break, she’s really, really large and a bit intimidating for me. So I’m gonna work on a couple smaller pieces and come back to her in a week or two. Plus, Im really excited about the twittergriffins too and want to do a couple of those along with the otter first. I’ve got a twittergriffin sitting up too. It’s still in the blobby clay stage though. 😀

Aching eyes… the joys of insomnia…sigh…BUT I have made nice progress on the twittergriffin. Here’s a pic that’s not been shrunk so you can see the in progress detail. Keep in mind this fellow is only barely the height of my thumb…I can feel my eyes crossing… 😛

Hehe…It’s a jello box..I got the idea for him and couldn’t find anything to set him on for detailing, soooooo….jello pudding….Now I’ve got a mental picture of a dragon buying twitter flavored pudding…. 😯

Started up the basic shapes for some future pieces, I’ve got several things going at once which is the way I like it! Right now I’m working on.

Dragon otter
winged fox
sleeping mermaid
sitting up twittergriffin
basilisk (feathered serpent)
flying fish
not to mention conquering the casting process…

as I get them past the blobby stage I’ll post some pics for everybody. 😀 😀
