Okay, I decided to ‘kick cute to the curb’ and try something that I wanted to do for a long time. Presenting ‘Gothica’ the Unicorn. She was mostly an experiment on my part. I had been wanting to do a skeleton unicorn forever. Her skeleton patterns are in no way intended to be anatomically correct, just mostly decorative. The hardest part was getting the bone patterns to look furry – but I think they came out okay. I also provided her eyes myself. They are a little brighter red than Windstone’s version and they are also actually very slightly smaller in diameter – even though they are supposed to be the same size. The effect is a slightly sunken-in look to her eyes. Considering her theme, I think it work in Gothica’s favor. Gothica still needs to be spayed with sealant and I intend to put some red gems in her mane and tail. She destined for ebay – so hopefully someone will appreciate her. The only issue she has is she was one of the damaged unis. Her horn had a slight wiggle. I couldn’t remove it to re-glue it more securely, so I repaired so that it wiggles even less, and removed any danger of it falling out.
I really want to do another one for myself eventually 😀 .
WOW 😮 ..I LOVE that Unicorn….I could never imagine liking a Unicorn with red eyes but this one looks AWSOME and this one I would not mind adding to my collection… 😉

Very nicely done! The violet overtones you put in places are a great touch. Nice three-dimensional appearance to the fur, as usual: you must do a fair amount of layering. And I agree, the skull was an inspired touch. Excellent design! 🙂
Abby from NCIS would flip for this unicorn . . . . 😉
