When you sign up for a membership on this website-what is the difference between premium and wholesale, and does it cost anything? What are the benefits to it? Thanks!
June 18, 2007 at 4:48 am #491549June 18, 2007 at 4:50 am #590308I think wholesale is for retailers and premium is for the rest of use buyers who buy for ourselves. I signed up for premium, but I wasn’t sure. I don’t think either costs anything… 😕
June 18, 2007 at 5:29 am #590309I had no idea there was that option!!!
June 18, 2007 at 5:31 am #590310If I recall, I didn’t know the difference so I didn’t select :lol:;
June 18, 2007 at 11:37 am #590311Huh? I didn’t know there was an option either! And cost???
I’m lost… as usual!

That’s okay!
When I signed up as a member for the windstone online store, they gave me an option of being either a premium or a wholesale member. I don’t really know what it is, so I chose premium. It sounds better anyway! 🙂
Oh, and I didn’t know whether or not that choice affected prices or availability of items, or if it caused me to pay a monthly membership. 😆June 18, 2007 at 3:22 pm #590314I’m not entirely sure, though I do have an idea. I’ll get an answer for you guys. 🙂 I’m pretty sure that “wholesale” is for dealers only but I’ll confirm.

It was two categories that were in the store setup from the installation. At this point it means absolutely nothing. No one bothered to remove the extraneous category, that’s all.
If and when Windstone decides to allow dealers to purchase through the store then the categories will be altered and the profiles updated, but that won’t be for a while (if at all).
June 19, 2007 at 12:15 am #590318Yeah I just confirmed that, but you guys should choose “Premium” if you sign up. No, it doesn’t cost anything!

June 22, 2007 at 3:23 pm #590320Our dearest Susie has fixed it so the only option now is “member”. Much less confusing! 😀
