I knew a gal once, an middle-aged lady who collected flamingos. She was part of a community drama group, and so she was often involved with local schools and things, because of students being in the plays. Well apparntely there was a celebration after one of the plays where all the directors and other adults involved, including the principal of the local high school, got together to celebrate a successful performance, and everybody got VERY drunk.

The principal went out on a crazy expedition for something or other, and came back with a cement lawn flamingo, and gave it to the lady, because she collected them. He’d stolen it off somebody’s lawn! And when he regretted it the next day, he realized he’d been too drunk to remember whose lawn it was, so there was no way to return it!

      She still has it.

😆 I have been drink like that. Never stole lawn fixtures, though. A sign or two, maybe, and the occasional pylon, but nothing from anyones yard. Thats just mean!! 😆

I never said I was never drunk like that, the best one we did was to take those magnet truck signs off of trucks and put them on other vehicles. Or we would take house for sale signs and put them in different yards too, LOL, harmless kids stuff.

Street signs…construction signs…no billboards. Too heavy. Parking spot signs were our favorite. Taking the signs for reserved parking for people like the commandant of the school, or a hated instructor.

So, now that you have the cement pouring process worked out, will you try this one again? I know I’d like to see them.

One of the things I have learned in this business is that if something doesn’t sell, it doesn’t sell, and nothing will fix that. Except wings.
