and I do know what pegasi are… I didn’t think they had the collars? Must just be my fuzzy photographic memory) I shoulda known the griffins have collars though *goes to look at my griffin chick*
Well the mother and the baby pegasus do, but the male and the hatchig pegasus don’t. To add to the confusion there are older mother and baby pegasi that don’t have the collars as well.
March 9, 2009 at 3:19 am #753458I voted ‘yes’. I really like Vantid’s drawing – it’s very close to what I invision… The boys say it could represent the wolves rank in the pack 😀

March 9, 2009 at 3:31 am #753459I really have no preference. Overall, I think i’d prefer him without, and think some non-Windstone collector wolf fan customers might also. I never viewed the collars as unifiers. Depending on the collars, though, they could end up being a neutral to a plus with many potential customers. They do jazz things up a little, and I also like the Celtic looking cat collars (and think many potential customes might, since anything Celtic seems pretty hot to folk, and there’s probably a fair overlap between Celtic and wolf fans).

Kinda like how the griffins and flapcats are… just in a collar style. Purpleturtle’s idea of something like what the small flappers have would be nice for the wolf I think.
Sounds good, now we just need to convince Melody to do it! 😀
Although, Ski does make an interesting point; Would the collar or chain turn non Windstone collectors off? Or should we not even consider them? 😕 😀
Everyone has different tastes. The wolf would look good either way. Some folks think he’ll look more natural without it, but what is natural about a wolf with wings to begin with? Same thing with the flapcats. We know what they look like with necklaces and collars. What if they didn’t have them? People would probably still buy them, cause they’re so beautiful anyway. These are fantasy sculptures, and I think the necklaces/collars just kinda highlight that. Just my opinion on the whole thing!

That’s a point that can’t be argued! 😆

Excellent point and prolly right on the money… Folks would buy them either way and that really is the idea any way – to create something beautiful that interests most people 🙂

Just do them all, of course! 😉 😆
March 12, 2009 at 1:55 pm #753467Adaneth is right. And then add some fancy Artist Editions in wilder colors like blue and red.
March 12, 2009 at 3:40 pm #753468I don’t care either way so I’m no help. I think he’d look good both ways, although I do like the Celtic cat collar idea…that might be very cool.
