It’s always the silly-looking ones that get you when you least expect it.
Yes…he could be the poad version of the bunny… 😀
I wondered if anybody would get the “Tim” thing 😆 Luv Monty Python and the killer rabbit!!!
Me too! That’s my favorite scene!

Unless they’re provoked… 😀
That must be why Melody wrote on the card: “They have many useful talents, but no, they are not edible.”
Its because poads can’t be eaten — they have amazing self defense skills! 😆
April 5, 2007 at 8:16 pm #557360OMG I AM OFFLINE FOR JUST A WEEK AND OF COURSE THAT’S WHEN POADS COME OUT!!!!!!!!!! *runs to learn all the details!!!*

Uh, huh. sure it wasn’t. 😉 😆
Well at least you were able to go somewhere.April 5, 2007 at 8:55 pm #557364skigod377 wrote:lamortefille wrote:My Poad arrived today and I gave him to my husband as a giftie. He opened it and said, “What the hell is it?” lol! I told him it was a Poad and he said it was ridiculous. We laughed about it’s wonderful plumber’s butt crack. 😯 He took a good look at the face and said, “Melody really knows her sh*t!” I’m sure one is enough for him, but not for me – bring on the flashy jobs, Mel! Oh yeah, he is much bigger than I imagined…and I just love him.
😆 😆 Wonder what he’ll think of the muse…
I can’t even imagine his reaction to a Muse. I’m not sure if I even want one. lol
April 5, 2007 at 8:56 pm #557365I wan’t a muse to scare my bf. hehe
April 5, 2007 at 9:00 pm #557366It scares me! hehe It might spend it’s whole life under a paper cup. 😯
April 5, 2007 at 9:02 pm #557367I’m getting a whole stack of muses, and painting them totally bizarre colors and sending them as Christmas gifts to all my friends!
April 5, 2007 at 9:08 pm #557368That’s a really cool idea, SPark. You’ll have to explain to them what they are then. 😆

what is a muse? i ahve seen the image, but what does the creature do or represent?
April 5, 2007 at 10:45 pm #557370Muses were the Greek goddesses of creativity and art. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muse has more infomation.
Generally Muse has come to mean a being that’s a source of creative inspiration. A lot of artists talk about their Muse, and some of them personify their personal inner source of ideas as a person or animal or totem of some sort.
Melody decided to personify her creative Muse as a whacked-out adorable little kiwi-thing. Which just incidentally is also a “test tile” for trying out painting methods, because it contains some of every texture found on windstones, including feathers, hair, scales, etc.

AKA, something excellent to paint on before one tries any of the other PYO’s 😀 Yep, the muse shall be the lab rat to test the waters of my painting skills (if any… 😉 )
