Snap has more than one girl? That is surprising. π πYeah, and this one arranges to pay me!
My 2004 refund landed in the bank yesterday. Woop. Gotta hide it now lest I go on a fledge buying spree.April 4, 2007 at 11:58 pm #557346mimitrek wrote:Megani-chan wrote:That’s a good point mimi… how do we keep the wolves, dragons, griffs and such from predating the Poads?! π They do look kind of low down on the food chain…
Not to worry…poads are strong in the Force! π
Any predator foolish enough to try to make a meal of a poad will find himself being twirled around in mid-air… while the poad goes back to eating his pizza…
We had pizza for dinner… and the fresh-from-box Poad joined us… and my family had a war of words over whether he is cute or disturbing.
Now that I see him and that beak, he really does seem like he could nibble his way out of a scrap π― It’s always the silly-looking ones that get you when you least expect it. I might have to call him… Tim?
April 5, 2007 at 12:14 am #557347Mine is Goldfinger. My green eyed wonder. I am very very bad. But since I was keeping him forever anyway. I did the toenails in gold. ha. They looked empty to me. He is up to something I think. I have him next to the scratcher and he looks like he might have been the one to spread the fleas!
April 5, 2007 at 12:32 am #557348Mine came today and he is adorable! Can’t wait to have a clutter!
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
April 5, 2007 at 1:24 am #557349Got mine today, too! I love the lavender eyes – they are so much better in person.
April 5, 2007 at 1:53 am #557350I would love to see the lavender eyes in person — they show up kind of grey on my monitor π Glad you like yours!

Yes…he could be the poad version of the bunny… π
April 5, 2007 at 5:08 am #557353I picked up our three today. Man are they cute. We can’t decide which one we like best.
April 5, 2007 at 10:18 am #557354My Poad arrived today and I gave him to my husband as a giftie. He opened it and said, “What the hell is it?” lol! I told him it was a Poad and he said it was ridiculous. We laughed about it’s wonderful plumber’s butt crack. π― He took a good look at the face and said, “Melody really knows her sh*t!” I’m sure one is enough for him, but not for me – bring on the flashy jobs, Mel! Oh yeah, he is much bigger than I imagined…and I just love him.

π π Wonder what he’ll think of the muse…
April 5, 2007 at 3:28 pm #557356Well Pudge the Poad came with me to work today! She’s grinning up at me from beside my monitor… ready to make the whole day better! π
I had no idea how adorable these guys would actually be. I mean I loved the pics… I’ve been hooked from the beginning… but to actually HOLD one… OMG they are AWESOME! I want to get a Green-eyed butternut poad so I have all three eye colors now… and then get three wild colored ones….
Yeah… I’m a lost cause!
I’ll have to take pics of the collection soon… to show you guys where they are in the new house… kinda waiting on my Momma Ki-Rin (who is, as far as I know… STILL in California! GRRRR!!!) maybe she’ll show up today…
I can’t believe the Poads arrived before her… when she was shipped at LEAST 3 days before them!!!!
But anyway… LOVE POADS!!!! MUST have more! π π

I got it too. I just couldn’t think of something witty to say in response.
