Aren’t they just adorable? I can’t stop reaching over and squeezing mine. It – I can’t decide whether it’s a he or a she – is sitting on my work table and watches me paint. I definitely need more Poads. If they ever came out as beany bag sitting sacks – whatever they’re called – I’d buy one.
Melody said somewhere that they’re all female…kinda like a hive of bees or something 😀
April 19, 2007 at 6:20 pm #557390Ah. I guess with them being all curves and squeezable that would make sense. Still, my little Poady seems genderless to me…
April 19, 2007 at 6:54 pm #557391I keep thinking “he” because in French, both parrot and toad are masculine nouns.
And I just read (like, months later) Rockerbot’s post about the I-Poad…
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

April 19, 2007 at 11:36 pm #557393😆 😆 😆
April 19, 2007 at 11:43 pm #557394Mine came today!!! I keep petting her 😛 She’s so cute. Gina (short for Georgina) now resides on my night stand. I’m not allowed to keep her by the computer.
😛 I will love her and pet her and call her Gina 😛
NEED MORE POADS!

😆 In German toad is feminine and parrot is masculine. I bet that’s why I can’t decide.
May 6, 2007 at 4:36 am #557396Does anyone know if they have some left? I REALLY, REALLY need to stop….but they are too cute to not get one!!! I emailed Windstone, but of course today is Saturday….so I have to wait till Monday to get any info……Can you pick the eye color?
Thanks Kaya
May 6, 2007 at 4:47 am #557397If there are any left you should be able to choose from lavender, green or hazel. But I don’t know if there are any left. They aren’t listed in the store. I guess you’ll have to call the factory.
May 8, 2007 at 4:14 am #557398They have some left and I ordered the one with green eyes…..I hope it’s cute!!!!
May 8, 2007 at 6:13 am #557399Of course it is! You won’t want to put it down.
May 8, 2007 at 5:25 pm #557400My Poad is keeping track of the dragons, in case they get out of line.
May 9, 2007 at 2:42 pm #557401My fat Poad is safe in its own case on the wall, away from all them hungry dragons. 😆
May 9, 2007 at 2:42 pm #557402haha, don’t you feed your dragons?
May 9, 2007 at 2:44 pm #557403I think they come alive at night and feed themselves – on the mice and flies and mosquitoes. So far they’ve left my chocolate stash alone… 😆
