Woo, an osprey! I’m glad to see they have taken them off of retirement and they’re back in active service. They’re cool.

Thanks! We have a Bell Production Plant here at the Airport so we see and hear them all the time. Connon Air Force Base (New Mexico) is going to be takin them on for the new base mission, Special Ops?!?!?!
If and when my ex husband goes back into the Navy I’ll have to go there and get ID card for my girls, I’ll take my camera with me and take some pics IF I can! 😛

I wish, but no. They are from around here. The one on top is off of Hope Rd out West of Amarillo and the other two are off of Mcmasters before Goergia St. out South of town.

Off retirement? They were still in development 7 years ago. Did the program get interrupted?
