thought someone might enjoy these… they were all taken in my back garden. 😀 the boys have been squabbling all day 🙄 so I sent them on a ‘Spiderwick’ hunt; find places in the yard that you might find creatures from the Spiderwick Chronicles. My twinners are 12 and are just now learning to take pix…

Thankies! The yard is huge… almost 4 acres extremely overgrown, partially landscaped, most of it goes up hill, good for Spiderwick hunts especially if the day is overcast… (‘cept you get et by the ‘squitoes…)

When I was in Pittsburgh, I went to the National Aviary. My older camera didn’t like the dark interiors but I did get a few of the Stellar’s Sea Eagle:
And I took a few photos while watching the fireworks from our front porch on the 4th. I was comfy and lazy and didn’t want to go out onto the levee so you’ll have to ignore the ugly power lines.
