That’s so scary, BDW. I hope that doesn’t happen to you again this spring. Growing up near the Passaic River has made me really phobic about flooding and waterfalls. π
December 15, 2007 at 2:26 pm #602149Looky Looky! We got Snow! A lite dusting but we got it! lol We don’t have anything really cool like mountains and such to take pictures of and Palo Duro Canyon is a 30 min drive on a good day! π
THEN Mouser comes bolting past me and jumps outside… to a sudden stop… lol
I have indoor only cats and she threw herself out in the snow! lol The look on her face was priceless, I didn’t take a picture of it in fear that she would have gone futher out in the back yard!December 15, 2007 at 4:48 pm #602150Great pics Serenity! *no soggy box in the mail for you… π *

December 15, 2007 at 6:59 pm #602151Mouser didn’t try bolting out the door again… LOL I actually took her outside and she held on to the door frame to try to keep from going out! LOL Silly kitty!

December 16, 2007 at 5:25 am #602153You have snow! I’m envious. We just have cold without the snow.
December 16, 2007 at 3:25 pm #602154π Glad you got snow Serenity! All you members that want snow …just come to my place. We are getting about 2 feet of snow today and tomorrow. Like if we did not have enough already! π― OMG I’ll need help to shovel! I’ll take pictures when I can.

I am guessing that earlier when she did bolt past me she was thinking “COOL! Whats this white stuff…..” (Mouser thought as she bolted past her humans legs and into the white stuff called snow)…. “HOLY CR*P THATS COLD!” lol I grabed her and got her in the house since I wasn’t wearing the correct shoes to chase a cat outside! lol
December 16, 2007 at 9:18 pm #602156Yesterday’s wind on the river
Today’s snow storm. π― OK I don’t want more. That is what happens when you wish for snow. π

December 16, 2007 at 11:03 pm #602158Brrrrrr!!!! We’re expecting several feet in the next couple of days. The boys are hoping for a snow day from school, but I’ve got Christmas stuff to finish and it’s easier if they aren’t home! Holler if you need help shoveling Blackdesertwind! We’re getting good at it here! π

December 16, 2007 at 11:29 pm #602161Fine, you can have all our snow!! We got dumped with at least 2 feet and since it hasn’t stopped yet…it’s a good thing we have an SUV with 4-wheel drive because we never would have made it to the grocery store, there are cars stuck everywhere. And then we couldn’t pick up groceries because their power was out…I think we’re going to end up having Eggos for supper… π
