Not when it comes to animals (since I never go anywhere 😥 ) and the quality of your pictures. I’m still having problems with my camera and the day I was suposed to go in town to get it verified…well we had the snow storm. Now I don’t know when I will get a chance again this year. 🙄
I remember I asked you what the name of your camera was but I don’t remember what your answer was.December 5, 2007 at 1:28 am #602048Blackdesertwind wrote:KoishiiKitty wrote:I know your stuff can rival mine easily.

December 5, 2007 at 2:53 pm #602053Sigh…I am SOOO outclassed for this photo contest! 😀 I looove looking at your photos though! 😀 Good luck all!
December 5, 2007 at 4:08 pm #602054I love your winterscape photos BDW! Those are soo pretty. so much of that i have not seen since I lived in alaska…have you tried getting some nightime star photos?
I was given a canon powershot A530. This little camera even got dropped in a pool of cold river water and STILL worked. I still have it. All of the photos except for the top 8 here : http://dragonkoi-studios.deviantart.com/gallery/ were all taken with my powershot.. the powershots ARE great camera’s and mine let me grab a lot of amazing photos( that link also has photos from my last visit to the safari part)
I switched because I wanted to do more with my photography. For instance, zoom. The powershots are limmited on thier macro and telephoto abilities…but I wanted to take photos of animals, bugs, wildlife..and that often needs at least a 200 lense and a good macro that can blow things up to 10x.
the other feature is how long you can have the shutter open. at the longest, my powershot only allows 2 seconds. good, but longer shutter time is better for night photos(which i do too, have i ever showed my glowstick photos????).
The rebel does have more advanced photos options that expand the type of photos you can take.here are more photos from the wild life sarafi park and oregon:
