Unfortunately you may be stuck until you get some funds available…most places wont do special larger sizes….Do you have a really, really good printer? You can get photo paper and print up to 8x10s that way and if you matte and frame them you could sell that way. You would however need to be sure that your printer could do the quality you would need. I know nothing about printers though, just that they’ve gotten alot better in the recent years… 😀 There are lots of places you could get stylish framing at reasonable prices. Hope this helps. 😀
I will be buying a good printer soon but from my experience with them, they still are costly when it come to ink and when you print lots of pictures even on photo paper it uses alot of ink. And I still would have to get all copyright.
October 30, 2007 at 8:44 pm #601939In Canada Black’s Photography will do larger sizes of photos for a reasonable price. Also, check with Kinko’s or any other print shop. Most of them can do that. I had a friend who was a photographer and her would get all of his stuff printed for him so he didn’t have to worry about the mess. Dad is also an amatuer photographer, when he remembers to take the camera 🙄 You can also buy precut mats at Framing places or at Michael’s if you want to do that. If your stuff is digital, then the image may start to pixelate as the pic gets larger but the higher the numer of Megapixels you take the pic at, the larger the pic will be before it starts to pixelate
I hope that helps a bit BDW!! Your pics are gorgeous! would you send me seeds of those pretty orange flowers next year? 😉
October 30, 2007 at 10:43 pm #601940Well, this picture won’t win any awards, but I thought the skunk was really neat looking and worth sharing. My sister took the picture…he is eating birdseed on her back deck.
October 30, 2007 at 10:51 pm #601941😯 skunk! 😯 skunk! 😯 I’ll give you an award for being brave enough to get near it a snap a picture! Nice skunk! Was it visiting your new shed?
October 30, 2007 at 11:08 pm #601942😆 My sister gets the award…it’s “her” skunk on her deck. The pic was taken through her screen, which is why it’s blurry. I don’t have a new shed, but we could sure use one. 😉

A live skunk! The only skunks I’ve ever seen have been roadkill. 😕

No I don’t mind as long as they are not used for something else and sold or passed as someone else’s pictures.
I wouldn’t do that. Thanks for the permission.

November 4, 2007 at 4:17 am #601950Hey guys I found this guy in my yard 15 minutes ago, got my camera and seeds walk to him patiently and started taking pictures of him feeding on the seeds. He was nervous at first but not at the end…I was at 4 feet from him!
PS: we just renovated the outside of the house and don’t have alight yet for outside. The pictures were taken with just the camera flash on the Auto option.[/][/][/]
