actualy black widows eat other spiders, so the wolf spider(poor fella) is in there to serve as food for her.
sure enough when i got up this morning, there he was, all curled up, hanging in her web, and covered in silk. poor fella never had a chance.
Black Widows are named that for a reason! I had 4 along the back porch were I use to live, and with small children, they died. I didn’t want to take the chance of my girls upsetting the spiders so they had to go.

This is funny, our neighbors decarated for halloween and put up the big lighted spider webs… I think the average garden spider just HAD to out do them so it spun a wed on my porch RIGHT in a walk way… 😯
I found a 5 foot branch and moved it somewhere else!!!
Call me old fashioned but I’ll stick to cats and dogs and gerbils and fish for pets. Snakes are alright but I wouldn’t have one as a pet.
Had a neighbor YEARS ago that had a 11 1/2 foot burmes python for a pet! 😯 It was a BIG snake!!! I’d help when they had him out sun bathing by keeping the cats away! Then I’d help put him back in his cage. They are pretty cool, just not for me!
I have 3 bearded dragons and 4 cats but that’s it. Here’s one of my beardies, his name is Mushu, he’s not full grown yet but he is such a sweetie!

Nice kitties! I have a tortie once… she was cool! They had 2 in the pet store when I got Squeek but I kept telling myself, “get the grebil and leave,get the gerbil and leave.” lol
