GM, haha! That’s like saying that you thought a poodle was the same thing as a fox. 😆
I use an older Sony Cybershot 828. I will have a new camera… someday!

GM?? I guess that was DM…I know nothing about rodents, gerbals or hampsters sorry
So what is the difference??February 4, 2008 at 10:36 pm #661241Gerbils are typically between six and twelve inches (150 to 300 mm) long, including the tail which makes up approximately one half of their total length. Hamsters are stout-bodied, with tails much shorter than body length and have small furry ears, short stocky legs, and wide feet.

February 5, 2008 at 4:08 am #661248Since I have 20 animals…I won’t post pictures of all of them. here is a sample 🙂 and YES I like wild names! 😈
Thorn…the Hedgie
Bunyip (name of an Austrailian Aboriginal mythological monster) the Sugar Glider
Mephistopheles (another name for Lucifer) the cat
Tina (the Dachshund) and Czar (the MinPin)
Tatsu (means Dragon in Japanese) the cat and Thistle the Hedgie
Chupacabra (Latin Mythological Creature) the cat
Mad Max (the Minpin) and Mephistopheles (the cat)
February 5, 2008 at 4:12 am #661249Wonderful, all of them! 😀
February 5, 2008 at 4:14 am #661250Awwww!!! The hedgehogs and the sugar glider are precious!! The names match the hedgehogs perfectly.
20 animals?? wow, you sound like me (well if I had the space, I would surely own that many animals). This silly apartment is too small and I said earlier that they don’t allow us to own any type of rodent or reptile. Which sucks cuz there are sooo many of them that I come across that I want to adopt/buy but I can’t.
Just wait until I get my own place. I’ll have a huge basement with tons of fish tanks and other creatures. Like a miniature zoo.
The min pin and the cat pic is cute…I hope the cat won!!My most wanted list: carnelian mouse wizard, copper patina frog wizard, autumn leaf poads, pumpkin spice kitties
February 5, 2008 at 4:19 am #661251Those hedgehogs are so adorable!!! 😀
February 5, 2008 at 4:20 am #661252I have:
Benji, Bunyip, Bebe, Jeepers and Peepers (Sugies)
Thistle and Thorn (hedgies)
Tatsu, Mephistopheles, Chupacabra (cats)
Devil, Lucky, Terror, Red, Dixie, Harley, Max, Roxy, Missie, Czar (Minpins)
Tina (Dachsie)
3 un-named Jack Dempsy fish
So actually, after counting….24 pets…I always say 20 so my husband doesn’t ever really figure out that we have more than that!
I have a huge yard 🙂 everything is rescued, except the Hedgies and the Fish….even the Sugies started out as a female that was found outside and a male that was being abused…The babies occured before I could find a vet to get them fixed 🙂
February 5, 2008 at 4:21 am #661253here’s more pics of the “kids”…
You’d think they would fight…as cats and dogs sometimes do
You would think the cat would change his mind about what to have for dinner..cat food or fresh bird..but nope these two are actually best buddies. 😆
