These aren’t anything special. I had considered using one of these in the second photo contest, but I thought I remembered seeing a note that said taken in the last three years and it was taken well before then (2000). I took these when I was in college. I was a journalism major so a required class was Photojournalism. At that time students were still issued SLR cameras and allowed access to the dark room. You could take as many pictures and make prints of them as you wanted, you just had to supply the film and the photographic paper. I developed the negatives and made the prints all by myself. I haven’t touched them up with photoshop since other than to reduce the file sizes.
My best friend’s puppy in 2000. Ebony is huge now!

December 19, 2007 at 6:16 am #648410The cat pictures were taken during the Great Cats of the World Show at the Georgia Renaissance Festival back in May 2000. The cat show has since been replaced by a birds of prey show. I made a copy of the cat pictures and took them to the fair the following year and gave it to the workers. They loved getting them.

January 7, 2008 at 10:02 pm #648419I found another old picture I had taken and thought to share. It was taken with a 110 camera in the mid-1980s of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World. The first one is the original print and the second is after some cleaning up in photoshop. I had tried cleaning it up before, but compared to this time it looked awful!
