Any chance we might see a pebble foal at some point?

My other (collecting) passion besides Windstones is horses (regular horses of any shape or kind) and I’d love to be able to add a Windstone horse/foal to the group! 🙂

Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.

I have a pebble horse that I just about finished! Its kinda dumb, because it’s just a horse, I mean there are THOUSANDS of horse sculptures out there already, but … what the heck.

Horses are so frustrating because I can’t do long legs in the gypsum material.

I know you use the gypsum because it holds a lot of detail, but have you experimented with any new cast-able mediums recently? It seems to me I have seen stuff in “cold cast bronze” with a lot of detail. I think it is some sort of resin/powdered metal composite but I am not sure. Other new materials may have come out as well. Your work is so great, I would love to see more “active” poses, but I know the gypsum is too fragile. By the way, I also think a pebble baby to go with the pebble horse would be cute. Maybe a curled up one to lie next to the adult.
