I loved that movie! And, yes, I have done this a few times (Infact that movie was very inspiring. I don’t know about any of you, but just watching it made me want to be that way. He struggled so hard!). What you give usually comes back to you tenfold and sometimes you don’t even realize it! This forum has paid it forward to me a few times…Not necessarily in Windstones either. But, sometimes just when you need a friend… 😉 😀 *hugs to everyone*

I try to ‘pay it forward’. Someone is nice to me, and I end up being in such a good mood that I want to do something nice for someone else!

Although I try to be nice on a daily basis. Hopefully me being nice to other people makes them happy enough to want to do nice stuff for other people!

I usually to do things like give my seat on the bus or subway or let someone jump infront of me in the supermarket line if they only have a few items without needing something kind done beforehand to initiate it. However, once someone does something nice for me, I tend to get ultra aware of my surroundings and almost seek out ways to help others (it took thinking about this topic to realize I do that). I might have issues 😆

Great topic though, it’s a nice discussion change from the norm right now. 🙂

Me too–I lived in a building before, where the tenants were so awful that they truly gave meaning to the phrase “no good deed goes unpunished”. By the way, Lokie, I want your cat, lol. XD

oh I can’t change who I am–I can’t help being helpful! And I do believe somehow, someway, what goes around comes around–even if I never see it happen. I always wave people through in traffic trying to get out driveways, etc., in the hopes that sometime down the road they’ll do the same. 😀

That’s a nice idea. 🙂 I keep on wanting to give someone something for a nice gift they gave to me, but I don’t know what yet. It was a forum member here. She gave me a gift for no reason at all, so I want to do something nice for her! It was a long time ago, so I hope she doesn’t think I have forgotten!! 😀

I ALWAYS try to keep my accont there overflowing!!
There is a country song about it too, to just keep the good thing going and there are like 4 events that trickle off eachother.
A Lady has a flat tire and got help from a man driving along and when she asks him how much she owes him he just tells her to help someone else because he had been in her shoes before, she is in a restaurant and noticed her waitress is very pregnant she leaves her $100 and a note telling her she has been in her shoes before and to repay her she now needs to help someone else. I can’t remember the rest of the song though

Lovely idea. Truly if the world were more like this we’d all be better off.

Speaking of which our dear Melody Pena does this all the time! By giving us her free raffles there are those who get the chance to own a Windstone without having to pay a dime! She’s such a generous, kind woman don’t ya think??

And she makes me happy every day just by looking at her sculptures. They bring joy to me when I’m feeling down. Material objects are not what really makes life better, rather it’s the thought behind it….

I agree–Melody makes beautiful pieces–I’m not in debt for nothing, but I enjoy my Windstones. It always amazes me the details she puts into her work. Yet she is generous with the raffles and such. I love it that we all found this place and a good place it is!!! 😀
