Personally Im more of a fan of the buckskin palominos like Dune. But Chariot IS a pretty boy. I would not complain if more were painted like him.
April 29, 2011 at 7:38 pm #843994One got named “Durian”? Ha ha ha!
When I first read his name I thought “Duriel”, like from the Diablo video game series… 😀
But Durian is cool too!!Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

April 29, 2011 at 8:51 pm #843998Oh, I am sure it was the fruit. ( I didn’t name these)
I love durian.
It does stink a bit. Understatement.June 23, 2011 at 9:40 pm #849162Bumping this up for another squeak for Palimino unicorns with blue or teal eyes. I know there was a mother with blue eyes, but I missed her 🙁
June 23, 2011 at 11:50 pm #849181:sick: Isn’t durian the one the smells like a mix of putrid onions and rotten feet? I can’t get past the smell to try it!

It’s a good example of how upbringing and culture impacts us on every level – they are a delicacy in Singapore, and people love the smell and taste of them!

When you said the two colors that make you pee-with excitement or dread? Im confused about that statement.
pee with enthusiasm

No. Durian smells like an open sewer. It smells worse than you can imagine. I simply love durian, for the entertainment if nothing else.
June 24, 2011 at 5:28 am #849210My siblings and I found some pastry buns with durian paste in them a few weeks ago, and were daring each other to eat them all day. It was pretty foul, not too sweat but still tasted like rotten fruit with a stronger stink factor. Between the three of us, we all had different ideas of what it tasted like, so I think it’s not just a cultural thing but one of those tastes and senses that different people experience differently. I also saw a sign, maybe it was a joke, that in Singapore durian fruit is not allowed on public transporation (along with smoking and explosives!)

This sign?
“The odour has led to the fruit’s banishment from certain hotels and public transportation in southeast Asia.”
It’s true! XD

(both from Wikipedia)LMAO!!! But fruit is so innocent! Wow. Some friends of mine…okay one is a friend, the other one I won’t claim O.O got a Durian and tried to cut it open. They got on each other’s shoulders (two dudes) and jumped on it and it didn’t crack. Next they tried a machetti with little luck. I forget how they finally got it open.
Someone else wanted to leave bits of durian in the air ducts of the last place he worked. That would be a great revenge.
