The last batch I just got in my store of the Em-pea was so stunning that everyone just stopped to galk. The purple was not really purple but a purple/blue and lots of it. The Male has a streak of bright gold on the front of his head. The colors are absolutely stunning. I was so impressed. I have had shipments of the Em-pea but his latest was sooo incredible.

Can you show a pic, Bella? I love the Em Pea color. I think the Scratcher shows the color off nicely. I have not seen it in person, though. I will have to remedy that.

Are the colour of the hornes different on the em pea scratcher, i have to say its not really my cup of tea on the scratcher. I don’t know why i love it on the mother. I think the colour of the hornes make it odd for me.

Wolflodge, is there anychance you can take the picture of the family again in focus? I really can’t look at it it makes my eyes go funny when pictures are a little fuzzy.

Yesterday I received my em pea male. The seller and I went back and forth with descriptions and pictures, trying to figure out if he was from the first batch (with more purple) or not. It turns out he is one of the newer ones, but the new coloring really is beautiful! Time to eat crow: I said I wouldn’t buy any more of the new em peas, but I’ve changed my mind after seeing one. I think the color would look smashing on an old warrior! If the old warrior never happens, I will at least get a scratcher someday.
