Or who won it? I saw that it was pulled this morning and wondered…
November 8, 2007 at 8:54 am #632943It wasn’t an ebay name I recognized…I don’t think they were a forum member…

-J R R TolkienNovember 8, 2007 at 9:23 am #632944That’s really strange. I wonder if Windstone knows the winner and has all their info, or if that disappeared too?
November 8, 2007 at 11:14 am #632945This is a copy of the email I received. It doesn’t help or solve anything; I just thought some non-bidders might be interested in what it said.
The listing in which you were a bidding participant:
300167171927 – WINDSTONE EDITIONS SUN DRAGON IN BRONZE
has been ended by eBay. Since the listing was ended by eBay, for the transaction itself is null and void. (That’s their poor grammer, not mine. lol)
1st Choice – We ended the listing due to bidding activity that took place without the authorization of the owner of one of the accounts that bid on the listing. We have ended the listing to maintain the integrity of the eBay site and the bidder’s account that was accessed. We are working to restore the bidding account to its rightful owner, and we are working with the account owner to prevent any additional unauthorized activity.
or
2nd Choice – Due to privacy concerns, we cannot disclose the exact reason the listing itself was ended. However, we can inform you that we did not take any action on the seller’s account for this listing.ADD to either choice: As a result, we have informed the seller that they may relist their item if they wish to do so. Please feel free to re-bid on this item under the new item number. To locate the new item number, please check the sellers list of items at:

November 8, 2007 at 1:23 pm #632946That is really screwy! 😕 I wonder if the high bidder was a person using someone else’s bidding account. I had an item listed for sale about a year ago, and the amount went pretty high. But, the auction was pulled by Ebay because the highest bidder was not authorized to use that Ebay ID/bidding account. I was sooooo ticked! Ebay sent an explanation/apology, and said that I could relist it without the fees. I did, but it ending up selling for half the price the second time. I was really angry about it. Now, every time I list something… I make sure to put in my auction – “Only bid on this item if you are the authorized user of the bidding account”.
I’m sure the Sun dragon will go for good money the second time around though. Hope it gets worked out, and gets relisted for those that want him!
November 8, 2007 at 7:31 pm #632947it’s back on line now. Karen sent out an e-mail about it
November 8, 2007 at 7:41 pm #632948It’s up to $638.87 already! 😀
November 8, 2007 at 8:48 pm #632949lol It will probably go for more this time than it did last time!

Now I’m really curious to see who gets it.
November 9, 2007 at 7:44 am #632953DM, thats the same explanation I got. Apparently the high bidder was not the one bidding. I doubt Windstone will lose money. 😆
November 10, 2007 at 1:45 am #632954having this happen might make more people want it
November 11, 2007 at 4:55 pm #632955*sigh* well, once again, I tried! ;_; Who won it this time???

-J R R TolkienNovember 11, 2007 at 5:36 pm #632956I don’t recognize the name. $1,325.52 was the final price. Did it end that high last time? I wasn’t around when it ended.
