Did anyone else get this message about the Sun dragon?
“The listing in which you were a bidding participant:
300167171927 – WINDSTONE EDITIONS SUN DRAGON IN BRONZE
has been ended by eBay. Since the listing was ended by eBay, for the transaction itself is null and void.”It doesn’t seem like a scam, it wasn’t asking for money or anything and it was from “ended@ebay.com”.
What’s up with that?November 7, 2007 at 11:31 pm #632928When I first looked in my ebay it showed it as being won by ….. Now it says invalid item? 😯
November 8, 2007 at 12:04 am #632929Huh? Really? I wonder why? 😕
November 8, 2007 at 12:49 am #632930Yeah it’s not there anymore. I just did an advanced search for completed sales by WE and it doesn’t show up at all. Wonder what happened.
November 8, 2007 at 1:05 am #632931I bid on him…even tho i didn’t win, I still recieved an email from ebay stateing that ebay has taken the item off but they did not give me a reason why, they just told me that my bid was null and void.

November 8, 2007 at 1:43 am #632932Me, too. I bid on him and then got the email. He jumped A LOT in the last few seconds – maybe somebody (NOT Windstone – I mean a bidder) did something nefarious?
November 8, 2007 at 2:32 am #632933I had him saved under my watch list and now I can’t find him 😕

This is pretty strange. The auction did close but it was then removed by Ebay. We have never had that happen before and I would hope that Ebay sends us an explanation. If it is voided and we don’t get paid by the buyer we will put it back up as a three day auction.
November 8, 2007 at 3:02 am #632935Odd. That seems unfair for ebay to do that. I mean, it could be a considerable amount of profit lost if the second time around it goes for less… 😕
November 8, 2007 at 3:06 am #632936That is odd, I’ve never heard of that happening. I would be having a fit with ebay.
November 8, 2007 at 3:12 am #632937Depends on the reason they give. Benefit of the doubt I suppose…. 😕
November 8, 2007 at 3:13 am #632938I got it too…hmmm…maybe that means he’ll be relisted??? *hope*
edit: oops lol I didn’t even see John’s post there…well, I’m still hoping! >_<

-J R R TolkienNovember 8, 2007 at 3:14 am #632939I would ask but possibly windstone would let you go ahead and purchase it for the last bid price if you were the winning bidder? 🙂 No harm in asking.

I’ve had a listing pulled before by ebay becasue of something that I put in the description…that I guess was not allowed but I did recieve an explanation directly from ebay so I would hope that they would do the same for you…if not I would contact them and see what had happened.
