The old peacock definitely looks good no matter the lighting. I love the other two versions of peacock too; they all have their place, but my old peacock OW will always be a favorite. My son has already announced that he gets him when I’m not around anymore!! π― π π

December 6, 2007 at 9:15 pm #642551Hey, I already have dibs on the Oriental Dragon that was a members only piece by Swarovski when my parents pass…is that bad of me?? π
December 6, 2007 at 9:28 pm #642552Nope. My folks have 6 kids. I’m the oldest of the bunch. Last year at christmas they gave each of us different colored sticky dots and said go through the house and put a dot on what we thought we might like when they were gone. We all were a little taken aback by that but did as we were told (we always did try to do what mum & dad says π ) This year for birthdays, mothers day, fathers day, etc. mum & dad gave us some of the things we kids had sticky dotted. They said it gave them more joy to give us some of their things while they were still living and could enjoy our joy, than to make us wait till they were gone. They always said they wanted us kids to be better people than they were/are. We (siblings & me) think we were set up; there’s no way on God’s green earth that we will ever be better people than they.

December 6, 2007 at 9:37 pm #642553I think that is a smart idea, twindragonsmum. That way there isn’t any potential fighting and your parents have the chance to see you enjoy the pieces now. When my Dad passed away and my Mom moved, she gave my sister and I many things to remember him by, as well as things she didn’t want to cart to her new place.
