Old Green Curlie????????

Some of the Old Greens had brown-orange patches on their thighs, shoulders, forearms, and a few other places. The actual color of the patches seemed to vary between yellow-brown and brown-orange. It made a nice accent and brought the green colors out better–well, that’s my opinion. I know not everyone likes the brown. 😛

WSC posted a picture of an Old Green collection in which only the mother dragon has the brown patches. It’s on page 5 of PT’s “Wish List” thread under Flea Market (sorry, haven’t figured out how to post links yet). It makes a good example of the two different versions of Old Green.

I don’t mind the touches of brown, but I really dislike the funky yellow green 😕 . WSC’s mother dragon is the only piece I don’t like in that pic. The darkest green seems a bit different on her too, but that might just be me.

Picture of the old green with the brown. I didn’t mind the newer of the old green, but, I do love them with the brown. (Ignore the dust, I didn’t realise just how dusty it was until I uploaded the picture. 😳 )

We have a couple of bottles of old green paint left. That reminds me, I was going to paint a few more old green fledgies for those who missed out on them. I don’t like mixing paint.
