GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN, OH AND YEAH, GREEN!!
Since I have added the curlies to my dragon families I’d LOVE to have one in each color. My Dragons where all very happy when the green Fledgie finally took his spot in front of his Emperor and the Emperor was releaved to have his own little guy to train.July 13, 2007 at 9:56 pm #599088Quote:We have a couple of bottles of old green paint left. That reminds me, I was going to paint a few more old green fledgies for those who missed out on them.
OMG that would be awesome. They were around for like 1 minute and then disappeared π₯
A curlie in green would be kewl too… Not necessarily both done in the next week would be good too π
July 13, 2007 at 10:50 pm #599089I would DEFINITELY buy new things in old green…especially an old green OW and an old green Lap dragon…mmmmm…
And Nam – the Emperor in old green had shimmer on it…maybe the new ones could to.

That he did. I did like the emperors in old brown and green! I just have no hope of getting one! π Good point Arlla!

We had this paint custom mixed for us, and to get more premixed we would need to order a lot. How many of you guys would want more dragons painted in old green? I don’t get the feeling that that color is in as much demand as the old brown was.
I would definitely be interested in an old green Fledgie, and a Curl. You could very probably sell me on an Old Warrior and a Lap in that color scheme as well. But would it be the green-on-green version of the latest Old Greens, or would they have the nice orange-brown patches that the older Old Greens had? I liked the orange-brown–it gave the green colors a lot more punch and seemed to give the figures more depth. Just green on green isn’t as appealing.
I guess the main difference is that Old Green with orange-brown accents would have me pounding at the factory doors waving a fistful of cash, whereas Old Green without the brown accents would only make me sedately place an order the minute I saw it. π
July 14, 2007 at 5:37 am #599093Ohh.. I’d love an old green curlie or old warrior.
July 14, 2007 at 11:23 am #599094I would love a curl in the green, but I am not sure I would like the bigger dragons in that color. Not sure, though.. could be wrong.
July 14, 2007 at 12:10 pm #599095Hum, that’s tough…. I really liked the old green with the brown. But, I would love a curlie for sure. I’m just not sure I would like something bigger.
July 14, 2007 at 2:15 pm #599096If the OW was released in old green, I’d definitely try to get one, just because I’d like all the OWs. But I’m not a particular fan of the old green color.

Ditto what Barrdwing said! (except for favorite figure, points to siggie)
I already have the fledge; my choices would be:
1. Prototype OW
2. Secret Keeper
3. Hatching Royalty (all 3)
4. Lap and Scratcher (they go together to me)
5. Coils (all 3)Basically, every dragon that wasn’t released in OG (or has yet to be released period) I’d get in it!
The OG was BY FAR my favorite color; I prefer the more matte finish to it, especially the older ones with tan accents, like Barrdwing said. It looks more ‘realistic’ to me somehow. I think the idea of adding a little interference shimmer to the darker areas as on the emperor (forget who suggested it but great idea) would be a wonderful way to add more visual punch, while still keeping it more naturalistic.
It seemed to sell well then, and comments in general seem to indicate enough interest in it to do limited sales like the browns have currently. Please more OGs? *puppy dog eyes*
July 14, 2007 at 8:02 pm #599098Ooo Old Green Fledge and Curls!! :squeak:
July 15, 2007 at 7:50 pm #599099Old Green anything!!! π π π― It’s like the black Griffins and Tan Griffins for me, I would HAVE to have it! But I have avoided the brown scratcher and lap and OW. Not that I don’t want the OW…I would love to have him, but the smaller stuff means less money to get a piece…And Windstone doesn’t do layaway on the big boys. π
July 16, 2007 at 1:29 am #599100Old green YES! I love the original browns & greens. I would get a curlie, def! And a lap too, maybe OW. (Sounds like the old green curlies would be another sell out π )
July 16, 2007 at 1:43 am #599101I would get the curly because I want all the curlies. I do like the old green too. As long as it has lots of brown like the older ones do.
