Wow! I just read this Kyrin, and I am so happy that Ein is coming home! To tell you the truth, I was expecting the bills to be higher, so I am happy that the bills aren’t super bad, but I completely understand your situation. *hugs* and *happy dance!*

Bill topped out at $326.87…could have been worse, could have paid all that and have a dead dog…*cringe*

Ein is home, acting more or less normal, though he is still pretty poofy from air under his skin, he is still a bit leaky, but not as bad as he was when it happened. The vet felt that since he was doing so much better that being home would be better for him than the stress of being at the hospital.

Since he was whining and crying and getting agitated every time someone walked past his cage over there, I think she was right. After the initial re-acquaintancing with the other dogs, he’s pretty much settled down and is pretty relaxed. Been resting and more or less being his normal self expect he looks funny with the compression bandage and red stocking thingy they put on him.

I’ll take a picture of him as he looks now. And put up a picture of what he looked like before it happened.

Glad he’s home! Some TLC will make it all right! 😉

Already the air level under his skin has gone down considerably, so the being home thing is obviously helping. He’s doing really well, so hopefully by his appointment on Tues, he will be declared more or less well.

Here’s hoping. It is looking like we won’t need surgery though, so that is a GOOD thing!

Very happy to hear the good news! Hurrah for no surgery–I hope the report on Tuesday is a good one!

Even less air under the skin today, so perhaps by Tues they will be able to take his body wrap off and he will be more or less healed enough to not need any more visits.

            We’ll see.

Yeah, that is what he feels like right now, bubble wrap…LOL! At least the amount oa air under there seems to be reducing, and that is a good sign that the hole is sealing up.

As for no more going out to chase things, I am also getting his little butt neutered…that should help a bit as well. Testosterone won’t be driving him as much.

Good idea, Kyrin. I’m glad he’s okay – and that the bill wasn’t too steep.
