New Wildlife Iris Designs!

I have been getting requests for some more “realistic” looking irises for PYO Young Dragons, and Keeper Dragons. I did some image research and used my tablet to digitally paint some based on animal images. I focused mainly on reptiles, for starters.

I made a test run casting in semi-metallic treatment in the sizes 8mm, and 11mm. There is 1 pair of each design, and in each size. I haven’t listed them yet on my Etsy shop, But will do so soon. If anyone is interested in a particular pair, you can email me directly at amanda@dreamingtreestudio.com . I also have a few of these colors in regular treatment too, but they still need leveling and polishing.

It is an offering to those who may be interested. I am still on the fence deciding if they will become a regular line in my studio or not. If I do decide to continue, I will expand into Birds, and Mammals also.

Thanks you all! It looks to me that these are going to be a permanent series in my Designs. Most of this test run batch has been spoken for already! But, the good news is that I will be casting more. Sizes will extend too. I guess they will not make it onto Etsy…The next batch will. It may be a while though, being my off season right now.
This week I will be away, and when I get back, I have a pair of Wings to finish for Bodine ( I am so sorry they are taking so long! The CP clay is a nightmare to work with!) I will be adding an additional pair just in case this new pair does not stand up very well over time. I never worked with cold porcelain before…It is waay softer than what I am used to. :/
