LOVING the update! The new icon colors for when topics have not been read and I see we now have a longer list of ‘active forum topics’. I’m digging that.

May 5, 2011 at 1:39 am #844464Anyone know who would I contact about problems with my for sale thread? There are several posts on it that I simply cannot edit, and I would really like to.

That would be me– were the posts made prior to the forum migration, or after?

My art: featherdust.comMay 6, 2011 at 1:45 am #844559Before the forum migrated. I was able to edit some of them, but the post with the griffins I have for sale doesn’t have any edit button.

This post?
http://www.windstoneeditions.com/forum/fs-lots-stuff-dropped-most-asking-prices-updated-0Since it was created BEFORE our migration, you may not be able to edit the first post. I’m sorry. This is a glitch we couldn’t correct!
On the first post of any topic, the edit button is not at the bottom of the post like normal. It is up high, near the navigation bar, and is white.

My art: featherdust.comMay 8, 2011 at 11:50 pm #844817That’s the thread, but it is actually post #2, with the griffins that has no edit button. All the other posts do have the edit optionn.

How weird and frustrating! I am very sorry. This seems to happen to other people too and I am not clear on what causes it. I will let Clay know… I’m really sorry that I’m too thick to fix this for you.

My art: featherdust.comMay 9, 2011 at 4:13 am #844841Could this be caused by a person having had multiple accounts? As in, maybe the forum is not letting people edit threads or posts made under the duplicate account?

It’s happening to me too in other threads. My store account and forum account had different user names with the old website. The strange thing is that in the thread I noticed this happening to me in, like Azurielle I could edit one of the posts in that thread, but the others didn’t have an edit button at all.

May 9, 2011 at 10:09 pm #844878In relation to the store:
It would be great if the pictures of the new items would only show in stock items. So, when the sand fledglings, for example, are sold out, they dont show up on the main page. That way its easy to see quickly what’s in stock and what’s not-sometimes a few minutes makes a difference in whether you can get a piece you want or have to wait for another batch (if there will be one)
May 10, 2011 at 2:08 am #844918That’s okay jennifer. If it is easier to delete the whole thread, I could always just start a new one.

May 10, 2011 at 2:09 am #844919I only have the one account, though. And my store name and forum name have always been the same.

I don’t think it has to do with multiple accounts, don’t worry. I’ve let Clay know… hopefully if it can be fixed, he can do it. 🙂
