Me too! I really hope poads are offered soon.
February 25, 2007 at 5:28 pm #543471Poads would be my first choice for a new animal.
My second choice would be a dragon horse. Here’s some info:
Dragon horses are sky-dwelling cousins of the noble ki-rin. They have a dragon’s head and the body of a ki-rin. They have blue coats of various hues, and flowing whitish-silver manes and tails. Dragon horses spend nearly all of their time in the air. Dragon horses are solitary by nature, but sometimes travel with in families consisting of stallion, mare, and foal.
February 25, 2007 at 5:32 pm #543472The dragon horse sounds cool. Reminds me of the Serendipity book called Shimmeree. But they were horses with dragon wings. I love the illustrator of those books!
February 25, 2007 at 5:41 pm #543473I have quite a few Serendipity books too. And like you, I love them for the artwork.

Those sound interesting. Do you have any pictures?February 25, 2007 at 6:11 pm #543475This is the best I can do. I think Melody could come up with someting a lot better. I can only get the second one to open by copying it into the internet address field.

Thanks! Do the ones that you have in mind look like that except that they also have dragon wings?February 25, 2007 at 8:10 pm #543479mimitrek wrote:starbreeze wrote:This is the best I can do. Thanks! Do the ones that you have in mind look like that except that they also have dragon wings? Some references to DragonHorses have wings, while others don’t. I personally think wings would be great and would make them look entirely different from Melody’s kirins.

Most references to kelpies make them sound a lot more horse like than a DragonHorse. Of course, like all mythological creatures, interpretations vary. These links are various examples of kelpies. If Melody did a kelpie, that would be cool too. There probably is a very fine line between a DragonHorse, Kelpie and Hippocampus.
