Do I get rid of the dark gold or the metallic white?? Ofcourse, it’s not even close to done. I just don’t really care for it, so before I get too carried away, I thought I’d ask for help.
my vote goes to getting rid of the dark gold/copper spots (like around the eyes and shoulder) and just use that color to do antiqueing. 🙂 Love the wings though….
I think I like the lighter gold you have on the flanks better than the dark. I like the metallic white, but that’s me. 🙂

You can paint over it. If painting with the metallic white, it might take you a few coats, but you should get it.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmCould you use the dark gold for a wash, in between the cracks? That would be pretty, but it’s too dark for the parts in the photos. That’s my opinion, but keep in mind that I’m not a painter.
I like the color scheme alot. Honestly the only thing I would change is that darker gold/bronze highlight around that one eye. That doesn’t really appeal to me personally. I like the side where it’s a lighter color around the eye. Other than that though I think he looks really good!!

I agree or you can dry brush over it.
