I won a white emperor dragon on Ebay and paid immediately and heard from the seller item was being shipped the next day. I waited a week and emailed her the dragon had not arrived. I got email back form seller saying owner was in CT and her father in TX and he had the dragon and had not shipped it but would do so asa. Ten days later no dragon. By that time 30 days had passed and I was a little unhappy seeing as I had paid $400 for the dragon. I filed a dispute with Paypal and received an email that they had contacted the seller – the dragon showed up 48 hours later. I thought about feedback for a long time because the dragon was mint. I finally left a neutral feedback because the seller had only sold 17 items on Ebay and being new I thought that would give her a better chance to get her act together next time. Also her first feedbacks were positive.
June 4, 2007 at 6:03 pm #584426I will give her a chance to respond. I like everyones advice…not too harsh. It just ruins all the good when she wont respond, though I guess vacation or an accident could be possible. I hope its not the latter.
June 4, 2007 at 7:54 pm #584427Ski, you and I are in the same boat, with the same seller. I purchased a peacock oriental, requested to have it double boxed and shipped priority (in the auction she only had parcel post as an option). I received an invoice from her for more than the shipping on the auction (I assumed she got my e-mail since she didn’t reply – other than the invoice). Well, 2 weeks out, no dragon. I e-mailed here on Saturday to find out when it was shipped (maybe she didn’t get in the mail right away) and still haven’t hear anything back.
I am going to give her a week, but if no dragon by that time I will probably start the dispute process.

Well, I dont feel the same way. Tis better to give than to receive, though.

None. I will write one more time and wait another week or so. I have time. I am gonna go right now and request contact info. Maybe that will get her attention.
June 5, 2007 at 5:25 pm #584434I sure hope so. π I wonder why people don’t bother to answer?
June 5, 2007 at 6:03 pm #584435Dragoness just informed me she may be on vacation. She got dates from the seller and will let me know. That would def explain things.
June 7, 2007 at 3:40 pm #584436Just an update: I never heard back from the seller (on vacation?) but I did get the dragon. It was well packaged and almost mint. There were a couple of small scuffs on the horns and and a small chip near the fur curls on the hind legs on both sides. They were very small and easy to touch up. BUT…..they wrote on the bottom of the felt “July ’97”. I tried removing it with a Tide spot remover pen and even some Resolve carpet cleaner on a paper towel. That writing is permanent. I e-mailed the seller again to request a partial refund. We’ll see. π
Have you heard anything back yet Ski?

Yep! She is on vacation till the middle of the month. I am glad I am not the only one that is picky about the felt! πJune 7, 2007 at 4:29 pm #584438skigod377 wrote:Dragon Master wrote:I have never gotten or given neutral or neg feed back I would rather not give any then go there

especially in this case!!
I would think that writing on the felt would make any Windstone less then Mint especialy if it’s Perm markerJune 7, 2007 at 5:17 pm #584439skigod377 wrote:SilverArrow wrote:Just an update: I never heard back from the seller (on vacation?) but I did get the dragon. Truely though, had I known it was like that I would have either chosen not to bid, or maybe not bid as high as I did. It’s more of an issue of full disclosure and being upfront and honest with it. Afterall, it does lower the value of the piece regardless (IMHO).
