Dreaming Tree-maybe this is a dumb question but did the seller insure the dragon? Does he or she offer a return policy? If that person does NOT offer a return policy, I am predicting he or she will not want to take the item back, even though it was not packaged properly. But I hope all works out well for you.
It shouldn’t matter if they insured it or not, seller’s own fault for being dumb. I can’t see any way that ebay wouldn’t side with you if the seller refused the refund, that dragon is in a million pieces. You can’t even tell if she WAS in the condition she was described to be in.
I’m just thinking ebay is going to say its not their responsibility-its the responsibility of the company that shipped it-and I am guessing it was sent with the post office.
The seller has gotten back to me. Her name is Robin. She asked me to ship it back to her as a return. I hope she refunds me my costs. :/
Is her ebay username robinshopper61? I purchased a dragon from someone named Robin. It arrived with a repair that wasn’t mentioned in the auction and photographed so you couldn’t see it. I asked for a $10 refund. Almost THREE MONTHS ago. Have asked several times about it and she keeps stringing me along. She claims financial hardship, but three months is a pretty decent amount of time to scrape $10 together. :/
