It’s a beautiful mantis with it’s wings spread. Very beautiful! You’re right, it looks like a cross between a butterfly and a mantis. I’ve never see on that color.

I do belive that is a real mantis, I think it’s one of the orchid ones…I’ll try to see if I can’t find some more pics to support his existance.

There are SO many different variations, but I think the original picture may be real.
