I decided the griffin needed a friend… actually, now I have to do one of every sculpt with this scheme!

I had tons of fun and finished him in a record time for me: 3 days. I’m proud of the antiquing. This is the first time antiquing turns out ok on my pieces. The smooth scales probably helped a lot.

The pictures didn’t come out as nicely; the black is a bit washed out and you can’t really see the difference betwen the black of the fur (dried brushed with gold) and the metallic black of the scales (antiqued with gold).
