The factory visit was successful, and as it was a stop on a longer trip up to Seattle, my new Windstone had a bit of an adventure.
I had to unpack her and stare at her as soon as possible, of course, so she spent a few days sitting on a friend’s endtable. Said friend was very jealous, and said she’d keep her if I left her behind! But she got packed up and came back with us last night. Now she is still in her box because we’re actually just starting a move, and she is a huge pain to pack and unpack, so she’ll be staying boxed up for the next couple of weeks while we move everything over. Then she can take her place as the centerpiece of my collection in the new house.
(I just have to figure out how the flip to childproof the display cabinets, given there’s going to also be a new baby in said house soon…)
