’cause mum has made all sorts of candy including g’ma’s carmel and divinity with walnuts and dad is just pulling the baklava out of the oven!!! Holy Cow! There goes my diet…

ooo baklava….I had it once in a small town about an hour north of here and it was indeed good. I’ll bet fresh, home made stuff is SUPER yummy!
I love that your father bakes! My dad only ever cooks breakfast and pork chops-thats all he knows how to do hehe
Mum always said she was the “plain” cook and Dad was the “gourmet”. Dad now has cinnamon rolls in the ovens upstairs and pound cake downstairs. My nieces and nephews will be over later today to bake cookies with Gr’ma. Oh, and let’s see… Chocolate butter almond brittle has been added to the stash as has fudge, pinoche and fondants…
