From my years being owned by cats…

    Merlyn, my mackerel tabby
Modred the black and white tuxedo cat
Firedrake who was black until the sun hit him and then he had amazing dark red striping
Panda, who looked like… well, a Panda
Bamboo, a golden kitty who had bamboo like rings around his tail
    Rebel, jet black bombay
Hunter, one of the current pair– a Maine Coon brown tabby
Sabrina, the other cat in the house, a golden Bengal with rosettes and glitter ;D

hope these help 😀 Although I claim DIBS if you make a flapcat of Brini or Hunter 😀

I think you really have to see the cat before naming it, but if you work like some kind of an artist and visualize the paint scheme from an idea (lol) (sorry laughing at myself haha)…….

Yin Yang – This one would be really cool to do on a cat!
Megiddo – Ancient city – Armaggedon, War between Good & Evil
Dia — Irish word for God
Cyclops – obvious it will have one blind eye!
Kharma – reaction to action yadda yadda yadd
Yadda – just a way to say EVERYTHING in one word LOL

btw, I would love to have any cat with the above names. Thank you for your time!

      😉 LOL

Bubastis – My cat’s “full” name, although I call her Boo Boo – it was an Egyptian city on the Nile and I was introduced to it when I was reading Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series in which Bast (the Egyptian cat Goddess) claimed the city as her own.

Maladroit – meaning awkward, bungling, tactless, etc. Of course, not all cats are particularly maladroit. I can only speak from experience! Sorry, Boo Boo! 😀

Other words that could feasibly be made into names:

Lilt (to move with lightness and buoyancy)
Gambol (to leap or skip about joyfully)
      Halcyon (care-free)
      Diaphanous (light, delicate, translucent)

Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

Well, going through my lifetime of kitties I’m sure I have a couple you could use

        Let’s see

Bandit, BooBoo Kitty, Spooky, Bubbas, Stinky, Shady, Stash, Yoda, Pinchy, Owen, Crybaby, Snow, Snickers, Callie, Spike, Jet, Faye, Haru, and Ajani.

Odd names I just happen to like and would be awesome for Flap Cats

Napper, Ink Eyes, Moofy, Pickles, Sakura, Meatball, Nicodemus, Nibbler, Socrates, Knickers, Hammerhead, Lotus, Shrapnel, and I’m sure I will think of more and update this post 😆

Also, if you ever named one Sticky Head I would have to win it! We adopted a little kitten we named Sticky Head until he got over his eye, nose, and ear infections, but it’s still his nickname. 🙂 He loved to rub face and yea….. he always left you with sticky yuckiness smeared all over whoever he was lovin! ROFL!

OH! a solid orange cat named Kyo would be AMAZING! 😀

Well, I don’t suppose you could use our black cat’s name – Kodama – what with being from Princess Mononoke and all. Although, as it’s a Japanese forest spirit, maybe they can’t trademark the name itself? And our other cat – Savannah -has a name probably too typical to use.

I worked with an African Serval named Sebastian. But we used to call him SerBastard, ‘cuz he could be a real pain to work with. (With love of course, lots of love.)

I guess I’d have to go with whomever mentioned earlier that I need to see ’em before naming inspiration strikes. Maybe post a teaser pic before putting them up for sale, and let the names flow? (Do I smell a contest 😉 )

Hmm. I can offer up some names we have given chickens:
