I love the job you’ve done with both of these pieces! Especially your Muse, so colorful and cheerful. Made me think of Hawaii the moment I saw it. 😀 It’s actually kinda rare that I like a color scheme with so many different colors but that one I just absolutely loved.

Thanks! I really didn’t have a plan for him when I started, I just put on all my favorite colors in a way I hoped wouldn’t clash too badly. He looks very… laid back. Jimmy Buffet-like 😆

Here is my first and only kirin to date, sent as a present to Melody at her surprise party. The pic is terrible, but it has been icky and snowy here for weeks and natural light bright enough to shoot pics in is hard to come by. I had to send her away so she’d arrive in time for the party, so I took the best pic of the bunch.
This little girl is all green and gold. I based her on some pictures I once saw in a National Geographic of a riverbank in China, with deep green water and foliage and golden sand glinting in the sun. Her fur is interference gold over light green, while her mane is darker gold. Scales are various shades of metalic green, from Jade and Peridot to Emerald and Christmas Tree Green. *sigh…* She looked a lot better in person.

Thank you 🙂 I loved seeing those pics! It’s great how everyone around here chips in and does fun stuff like that.
Finally, I finished and took pics of my unicorn, Duchess. I painted her in really soft buttermilk and gold… I suppose I was feeling really girly when I decided on a paint scheme 😆 She’s a pretty little lady. All the stones in her mane and tail were gleaned from around my room… I think most of them are off my designer jeans I can’t keep from bying, even when I know in my heart the cute little stones are just going to fall off sooner or later.
And here she is with my other PYO’s, having a little get-together on the table in the sun room. All of them are mine but the silver dragon and the griff–those were done by dragonmedley and Arlla, respectively 🙂 (The wolf only has her basecoat right now. She’s in her underwear, as it were…)

I missed your kirin 😯 I love the scales. The unicorn is nice and soft, and your dragon reminds me of the strawberry one I did for grayfire…
And that muse is way cool!
