I really didn’t think the theme was all that restrictive. I think it’s just how you choose to picture psychedelic mushroom. For me it brings up images of Alice in Wonderland.. thank you caterpillar, or the natural mushroom they are actually referencing. Why not do a trippy or outlandish pattern in normal or muted colors? It could be quite striking. I spent about half a second doing an image search on Google for psychedelic mushroom and there was scads of inspiration to be had, some of it in perfectly sane colors that would prove a fair challenge.

Just a thought. 🙂 It is amazing what people have come up with in the past, I bet this one will be no different.

I like this idea. And we can always give input as to what we would like painted for us as long as it works with the theme (like what we’ve done in previous swaps). But whatever happens, theme or no theme…I’m still interested.

        Either way for me.

So when are we planning to start this? This will be my first swap, so I am unfamiliar with the process.

Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.

I’d like to play this time ’round. I’m fine with a theme or not. 🙂

Next weekend or the following one, I think.

My participation would definitely depend on the theme suggested, and for this one I would be out :/ However, I would probably join in on another themed one if it appealed to me to paint/receive something in that theme! So.. not sure where my vote would go for this XD

Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.

Methinks a non-themed swap might be the way to go. However, absolutely nothing stops you from requesting a magic mushroom scheme when you sign up 🙂

              Yes, no, maybe so?

Mm, this thread seems to have gone dead. So I’ll give a more definitive answer to bump it. Might as well pick ‘no theme’ for this swap. And people who want to receive a ‘magic mushroom/psychedelic’ themed piece can say so to whomever is painting for them. That way you can get the maximum number of people to join.

I’m going to skip this one, because I’m trying to save up for a trip and a car at the moment but maybe next time! I look forwards to seeing what people come up with, as always. 😀

                    Excellent!

Yes! Let’s do this! Then maybe something else can sneak into my cart when I order the PYO for the swap……:)

Sorry, everyone! Things got busy with renos last weekend… If I don’t get a chance to start it on Friday, Saturday for sure!

I would join depending on if we have enough time (a few weeks for us International people) to get the pieces in and paint them so what would be the date to finish them by? I think no theme is probably better for everyone for now although I would be into the crazy colours.

Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
