Oh yeah, it does! Does the sun appear to be in two places in the sky at once some days over there?

July 19, 2010 at 5:45 am #805717Just little update that I am now an official SDM (single digit midgit) which means I will be leaving this place in less than 10 days. We go from here and spend a few days in Kuwait so I wont actually be HOME in the next 10 days but it wont be long after. Its been so boring lately because the new guys are already here and most of our stuff (all of mine) is gone so we kinda just sit around all day. I mostly do homework and watch movies. Just saw “how to train your dragon” and even though it was a black and white bootleg version, it was pretty awesome. “From Paris with Love” was really good, too, and “Kick-ass” was something else.
July 19, 2010 at 5:50 pm #805718YAY!!!! I was gonna ask when you thought you’d be home. π
July 26, 2010 at 9:17 pm #805719Well? π
July 27, 2010 at 3:09 pm #805720Well, we’ve moved to the tents, which, up untill today, were only moderately miserable. Now, there is another group in here and they are loud and annoying. It was only 5 of us and now its like, 25. Pack that on with the 110 deg heat because the AC only works at night, for some reason, the uncomfortable Army cot, the dust everywhere, and the complete and total boredom and you have where I am now. But we leave this place tomorrow for Kuwait… which is a lot hotter and a lot more crowded. I have not had anything nice to say so I have said nothing at all π We leave Kuwait on the 1st and will be home on the 1st. Cool thing is that I stop in Washington so I just may be able to meet Laphon1. That would be cool, I just dont knwo what kind of layover we will have or if we will be allowed out with the civilized folk during that time. It kinda hit me that I have not even seen a kid in 5 months! Weird. I cant wait to see my family. I still feel bad for Paul (who is already in Kuwait) because he will not have Xena to go home to. I had that pic made for him but I hope it doesnt make him sadder. Other than that, I guess I am fine… just antsy! π How are you?
July 27, 2010 at 5:59 pm #805721I’m ok, waiting for you to get home so I don’t have to worry. π
I’m warning you tho, it’s hot here as well…and humid. Sometimes I think that’s worse. But at least the ac’s work. π -
