Well, so far so good i guess. The guys at the TMC still cant figure out what caused the attack i had last friday :?… havent had another since then so thats good.. but anywho, they took away one of my days off 😡 , but luckily still have the 16th off. did u still want to meet up at the px?

Yup. I’ll be there tomorrow at noon. I will be there early since I have to return and movie and buy a new camera. I just paid over $200 for that coolpix camera and its already getting a ‘lens error.’ I want to get a pic of us for the forum. 🙂
I still cant believe you had two days off in a row. I wouldnt know what to do with myself over here! haha! I am glad that the attack seems to be a one time thing, though it is still kinda scary… I hope you do ok once the heat hits.

They give us 2 days off every 2 weeks to kinda make up for missing sundays off. Its been…… a *bit* longer than 2 weeks since i had any time off.. but meh… ill be happy to get anytime to myself, tho id much like to have it while my roommate is still on leave XD… Alright then! Ill be over there at noon ish as well, ill prolly go to bed right when i get off night shift so i can get some decent sleep before i get up n head over there. Need to grab some things from the px as well… some ramen for midnight chow, god i was soo mad when they closed midnight chow at the main dfac 😡 . Pics would be cool 😀 darn i wish i still had that camera the unit gave me, but took back cuz i got put on raid 🙄 that camera took nice pictures
It was great meeting you! I will load the software for this camera and upload the pic probably tonight. 🙂

Likewise indeed! 😀 lol hopefully the dust doesnt kill that camera too. And at least u have zippers on ur pockets XD , my stupid velcro is always wearing out n things start to fall out my chest pockets :x. are ur uniforms flame retardant? they look a diff color than the ones that we got, maybe cuz u guys get different uniforms than us ionno 😕 …or maybe its just cuz my uniform…looks kinda faded XD …

Yep, they are flame retardent… that lasts till you wash them. 😕 Not much seeing the poing in that, but oh well. I hear the ones you get from UDL are flame retardent, too. They are darker, I know that.

This is a family forum after all. 😕 😉 XD XD XDThis is a pic of the storm that rolled in several days ago. It was pretty wicked. The sky looked awesome. Riding home in the aftermath was not as fun.

I call it… the UBER MEGA BLACK STORM CLOUD OF DEATH 😆 …we stood outside and snapped pics as it rolled in… until the beastly storm front drove us inside with its 50+ mph winds and insane rain lol…like all of our CHU’s got flooded.. heard d-main got flooded… darn… i need to get a new rug now 😡

LOL Sorry about your rug but I heard the same complaints about the flooding here. Troops apparently cant even sleep without getting soaked in their CHUs. My hubby took the pics while standing on those barriers that block the CHUs. I was glad he did though. Your name for the storm is spot on! 😆
lol…. turns out it was salvageable… after letting it sit outside to dry in the hot sun for a few days. i went to go vaccuum it with the little dirt devil my mom sent, and i plug it in and it starts up then dies.. and im just standing there thinking “Moooooommmm…. i told you to get one that works with 220v!!! DX ” lol some of the pics i have looked like there was a funnel type thing going towards the ground.
