Good Luck in finding a job quickly
October 20, 2008 at 9:59 pm #736889thanks everyone, I put in three applications on the Kaiser Hospital website, I’m going to go down to the mall tomorrow 🙂 I’ll find some other job I’m sure. I’m gonna go apply at Michaels! 😀 I’ll spend my whole paycheck in that store though lol
I get to go back to the mad house tonight and attempt to clean it up … oh god, it was terrible last night, everything was thrown on the floor O.O I felt bad for my morning shift person, I didn’t have any time to clean anything in my department up! People are just being horrible.
October 21, 2008 at 1:57 am #736890I’m so sorry Leigha. This is terrible news! I hope you find something else soon.

I heard that the Baker’s Square did not tell their employees, so when they came in to work, they found the doors locked and a note on the door, saying the place is closed. That’s even worse.
Is that even allowed? Over here you’ve got fixed lengths of time that employers have to give employees to find a new job. Closing down a business over night and saying, “That’s it, folks, no more pay starting today” would land the employer in front of a judge double quick.

it happens here all the time , we had a huge seafood restaurant do that to its employees a few years back. The place was only open a year and gave its employees the note on the door firing . Better yet people bought gift certificates for Xmas gifts and they were null and void , they were supposed to get the money back after the place went through littagation but i havent heard if they did or not
