I just got my little birman bird winged flap cat. What a cutie, I love it. But, it came with a chip at the tip of the ear. What colour was used on the ear tips? I think the white is cute but, I guess I should fix it.

IT came with a chip on the ear?!? We can replace the cat! … or I can send you touch up paint, if it isn’t a huge chip, and that is ok with you.
November 25, 2007 at 11:09 am #639130🙂 It’s a very, very small chip, it’s just the very tip of the left ear. I wouldn’t bother with a replacement, touch up paint on the other hand would be handy. But, I might be able to match it with some of the colours I have hanging around here.
November 26, 2007 at 9:48 pm #639131Was it one of the blue winged ebay ones or the store ones?
November 27, 2007 at 12:35 pm #639132It’s from the store.
November 27, 2007 at 5:28 pm #639133I see what you mean, Romeo. Both mine came with paint off the ears. The same ear, too.
November 27, 2007 at 5:48 pm #639134yeah I had one that had a little paint of the ear tip…and off the tail….
I used burnt umber on the ear and a mix of burnt umber and a reddish color for the tail….they matched perfect….and you can’t even tell any paint was missing..
November 27, 2007 at 6:08 pm #639135I will put some on it, though its almost not worth messing with. Its just the very tip on both ears… like it rubbed the box on the way over.
November 27, 2007 at 6:09 pm #639136Burnt umber…. yes, I think I do have that. Perfect, that’s just what I needed. 😀
November 27, 2007 at 6:57 pm #639137hope it works out for you…and I just brushed a little sealer on…and they were just perfect…and on my shelf….I need to put pics up…LOL
November 27, 2007 at 7:02 pm #639138Actually burnt umber was too dark, I found Maple Syrup (Folk Art) was just right.
