Hello, Windstone peeps!
Uh, I don’t check in or comment as much as I probably could/should. My forum presence has been quite sporadic. But, if you really wanna know what’s going on in my life (*laughs*) here’s the Reader’s Digest version of the 18 months or so-
– Graduated college (again) with an AAS in Band Instrument Repair Technology from WIT.
– Moved to Virginia
– Got a job as an instrument repair tech (woodwind emphasis) at a family-owned music store
– Got promoted to one of the Assistant Directors of Registration at the animal-based charity convention I staff. (Anthrocon)And more recently
– Got engaged July 4th to my lovely British gentleman. *squee*
– Am setting up to buy a house (put-a-deposit-down attempt #6) in August!…and I keep buying the occasional WIndstone. XD
Um, so… yeah. 😀

July 21, 2011 at 1:59 am #851602Congratulations! Fredericksburg seems like a nice town, though my experience is limited to drive into town – drive partway through town – hang a left at the Confederate cemetery – drive out of town …
July 21, 2011 at 2:50 am #851612I was wondering where you’d been! Congrats on all the wonderful things you’re experiencing and welcome home!! We’ve missed you 😉

July 23, 2011 at 4:52 am #851833Congratulations! So now you get to play with fiddly re-padding jobs! If you were in Melbourne Australia, I’d bring my flutes to you for an overhaul. They need doing……
Congrats on your engagement too. How exciting!
July 24, 2011 at 5:17 am #851894Wow! Congrats on everything!!
July 24, 2011 at 12:52 pm #851898Eee, thank you, everyone! It’s a very exciting time for me, though very very busy. *huggles everyone*
And tethra? You’re welcome to send your flutes to the store for work. I do nearly all the flute work here (except straubinger pads, they require a special class), and I’d be happy to repad your flutes for you.
PM me for the store website if you’d like. 🙂
