Got my assignment, and their PYO request will be in the mail tomorrow. I started it last night when I got the request, stayed up until 2am, then went back to it this morning…just finished clear coating it about 20 minutes ago. Overall time spent…approx. 9 hours.
Yeah, I know, I’m quick.
But it didn’t take me long to figure out what I wanted to do, and I am really pleased with the results. Man it is killing me to not be able to really say anything!
I hope my receipient gets it fast…or I am gonna go nuts.

Actually I’ve been itching to paint for days, and after I got Micah’s wolf done, I was eyeing one of my PYO’s, but I didn’t know which I’d be assigned, so I didn’t touch either. And then when the request came in, I was like…Hey! I know what I want to do to that!
Took a search on the net for the reference pics, ended up using 4 of them, then set to. It was hard to clean up my brushes and go to bed, but I did…then I got up at 8:40am and continued, with a brief pause to make breakfast.
I was just dying to see the final results…I tend to do that when I have a good idea and am ready to run with it.

I’ve got paint on it now! About 10% of the base coat. Though I’m base coating this one in two colors, as it’s got a high contrast color scheme.

*laughs* I’m just seeing this as something fun, I’m trying to not get all uptight about it.
I mean heck, if the person getting mine hates it, they can always just paint over it themselves, you know? I’d be a little miffed if that happened, but eh, it’s not a huge deal. I’ll have fun doing it, that’s the important thing.

Lucky you!!! By now, it’s Sunday night here, but it turned out to be a miserable day, just like it’s been every day since April 1st! 😡 …rain all day, cold weather, and now it’s snowing AGAIN! 👿
Okay, I’m done venting now… At least I found some Windstones today, even if I’m not buying one for myself 😕
You never know! *grin* Most of the forum members are too polite to come out and say if they think my stuff is crap, after all. Though I suppose if everyone thought that, I’d have heard it by now, given a few past discussions around here!
(No, I don’t seriously think my stuff is crap, or that my person won’t like it. But I do know I’m not one of the “big” artists here. I’ve never even gotten a commission through the forums, just a couple off of ebay, though one of those was, I believe, for a forum member.)
