Glass Beach
HEEEEEEEE, so I can FINALY post this! I’ve been waiting to do so!
SHOOOOOO, this was my swap piece, I got Melody for my partner and her request was, what ever best represents the artist…
and the Ocean stuck out. It touches my art more then anything else. I love blues and the ever changing vibrancy, contrast, and color range of the oceans and species that live in it.This one was based specificly off a spot of ocean at Fort Bragg CA called Glass Beach. The beach is LITTERALY made of sea glass! I wanted a dragon that had the deep blues and foamy greens of the ocean, with accented colors of the different glass you can find. bronzes, rare reds and purples, and the common greens.
He has a nice oceany green sapphire in his tail and holds a very very light green piece of Sea Glass from that beach.
You painted for ‘The Creator’??? I’d’ve died of fright… 😮 😀 😀 Exquisite work darlin’!

HEEE! actualy I was really thrilled to do so! I was possitively happy over it. Waiting for her to get it is what killed me @_@
it was funny, Dfeathers had told me that when she was picking the painter for melody, and her husband drew my name, she freaked out and told him to put my name back because she thought I would keeeeel her. So he put my name back in, and swished around the names, and pulled another one…and he pulled my name again!!! HAHA, I just about died laughing when she told me. Too much of an awesome way to get a swap partner.
