Ohhh! That one is very nice too! I think it’s the gold highlights on the side scales that ren’t doing it for me, but I still have a massive, huge, enormous crush on Twilight though!

*drool*

Together they almost look like a mating pair of a breed of dragons. The Male would be Violet though since his bright red throat would be used to attract Twilight *snicker* 😆

Oooh, they are both gorgeous. In the pictures, I definitely like the Twilight best. In person, however, the Violet Red Wood is much prettier than his pictures, and is actually my favorite. The Violet Keeper colors just do not seem to photograph as well as the Twilight’s colors. The darker colors on the Violet were a surprise when I saw them….The line of dark scales running through the tail and under the claw is actually the deepest, darkest green, with the barest hint of blue. The line of scales that looks blue/purple is a very deep purple. The transitions are beautiful on both, and I love all the little details as well. Two wonderful Keepers, but I think of them both as males. Maybe the smaller PYO dragon would look more like a female? 🙂 After you do dragOn’s Twilight brother of course! 😀

so, Dfeather did some battering and got a blank keeper with red eyes, and shipped it to me, because…she has been waiting impatiently to see this coloration, Striped Opal, on a Keeper PYO. Which one of you commissioned me to paint that small dragon? I know some one on here has him.
So here he is! he is yours and he is on his way to you Dfeathers! this guy has SO manny colors and small colorings that do not show up in the photos. i tried to get as much of it as i could. this is probly the most complex dragon a person could ask me to do.

“Ihas bones”

The plated scales on the side of the spine scales, each scale has a transition of two to three colors.

the blue is not a solid shade, but a dark purple blue, to bright blue, to light blue, to blue green…and the belly goes from blue on the legs, to blue purple, magenta, coppery pink, to gold and pearl…all with contrasting interference.

This is where I realize how I’m more of a “simple” person. I *love* the design, but I would want one done in blues only. The variations in the blue are awesome and the stripes just my thing!

I love the details on this piece! We’ll all know when drag0n gets it–there will be a high pitched sqeeeeeeeeeeeaaalllll in the air for the world to hear and who could blame her. Awesome job, Koi! 8)
