My keeper dragon is finally done. I had a lot of fun using Golden brand interference paints as well as metallic paint on him. I painted him using a combination of airbrushing and regular brushing. Next I’d like to one day try painting a PYO unicorn.

July 26, 2010 at 8:12 pm #822097The key with interference is very thin layers! If you use too much it turns all white and milky. 🙄 I do it all the time.

Ugh! Tell me about it. Took me a long time to use them right, and I still get that dreaded ‘milkly’ look at times :puke: .
BTW lavanderstarfish, your dragon is looking great so far! I love interference paints. They look awesome on a black base. I can’t wait to see how this guy progresses 😀 .

I really like how you painted the wings, the top portion one color and blends right in to the bottom portion – looking awesome! Very nice! 🙂
