I think you have a good point, Melody. My kids seemed to enjoy sleeping in more “enclosed” areas, like their swing or bassinet. We also let my son sleep on us for short periods when he was small. He loved to curl up on his stomach, but we were afraid of SIDS, so we figured it was a happy medium. The cat loved to sleep in his bassinet after he outgrew it – go figure: -)

Thank you for joining us Miss Maya! My first Journey stone was “serenity” and was gifted to me by my boyfriend at one of the Renniasance faires we work at. I was going through a rough spot with seperation anxiety from the USMC and had quite a few rage issues. He gave it to me to carry with me and keep me calm in my times of vocanic proportioned outbursts, and she helps me immensely. Thank you for the kindness and inspiration that you pour into your work!

PS One of our good friends is a dealer of your pieces, Pandora’s Boxes, (who Louis got Serenity from) and she has one piece that keeps falling over at faires, it is the same piece every time too….Ironicaly that one is named “Stand” 😉

ooh how neat– one of the ones that came in the mail yesterday was “serenity”; I’m in love with the way things like that seem to happen in this community. 🙂

Both Serenity and the new synergy are lovely new additions; I love the calm and peace that seems to radiate from both sernity and healing. Synergy seems to be a happily humming wee pod, a bit different than the other two.

I love smooth objects and running my fingers along them. I always liked the look of the Maya Hill sculptures but I was always so focused on hunting for dragons (I’m a bit obsessed with them, can you tell??) That I never took the time to *really* look at them or consider how nice they would be to touch. Looks like it’s been my loss! *goes to browse* 😀
